Job Summary:
X by 2, a professional services organization that specializes in strategy and enterprise/application architecture for the insurance industry, is looking for an Insurance Specialist that has been playing business roles on business and technology transformation engagements for P & C insurance clients. Will serve as a client advisor and provide expertise in insurance and clients business, processes and identify solutions to their business problems.

We work with C-level business and technology leadership on initiatives involving core operations like policy administration/underwriting, claims, billing broader customer experience type engagements, and introduction of technology enablers like document management, rules engines, BPM, etc.
Responsibilities:
Bring the business perspective to insurance enterprise and solution architecture engagements
Work with C-Level executives to define and understand business goals, objectives and strategies
Define business capabilities, processes, and requirements for business and technology transformation initiatives, lead business tracks of such initiatives
Work with X by 2 architects to define future business-IT states, identify gaps and impediments to achieve target business states, create solution architectures, strategies, evaluate commercial off the shelf solutions and develop execution roadmaps
Work with other architects to evaluate and help bring about Business-IT Alignment
Collaborate with clients and X by 2 architects to develop and implement IT governance
Participate in business development activities on behalf of X by 2
Create knowledge assets that will benefit clients and X by 2 architects

Requirements:
10+ years of P&C insurance experience with carriers, insurance consulting, or insurance software companies
Hands on experience on business and business/IT transformation initiatives
Knowledge and understanding of property and casualty insurance products
Knowledge and understanding of core insurance processes, product development, underwriting, claims, billing, reinsurance, etc.
Ability to interact and communicate with business people at different levels in the organization and with enterprise and solution architects
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
