Description:\nThis position will be responsible for strategic management of Cox's relationship with the Wireless B/OSS (Oracle Communications suite) Managed Service Provider (MSP). The position will be the primary governance interface between the MSP and the wider Technology Operations team. The role is also accountable for all activities associated with effectively building and maintaining the Managed Service Provider relationship. Additionally, the manager is responsible for establishing and monitoring the Vendor Service Level Agreement (SLA) against contract terms for primary vendors and business partners. He/she may serve as the primary liaison between legal, project leads and other key stakeholders in the contract negotiation process. The manager will work with the Technology leadership groups and participate in the development of vendor relationship management strategies. As part of on-going responsibilities, the manager will work to facilitate regular communication to ensure key performance indicators are achieved and maintained. The manager will act as the primary contact and will own the daily relationship/communication with MSP. \n\n\nTasks include:\n1. Manage vendor relationship with B/OSS stack managed service provider (MSP)\n2. Coordinate governance and SLA management activities with MSP\n3. Ensuring code quality: Strict quality checks prior to introducing code to production. \n4. Testing: Validation of effective and standard testing processes across anything released to production.\n5. Change Management: Make sure that MSP follows Cox Change Management processes\n6. Gating: Ensure that a structured gating process is used for all projects considered for inclusion in a release to production.\n7. Problem Management: Assist with the structure for identifying/resolving high ticket generating issues in the production environment\n8. Application Engineering: Provide application support for defect resolution during all break/fix issues.\n9. Requirements:
Qualifications:\n \n1. Typically requires BS in CIS, MIS or related discipline. Generally 7+ years experience in related field. Advanced degree and generally 5+ years experience in related field. Certification required in some areas\n2. Demonstrated experience in IT vendor management and implementation techniques including contract negotiation and vendor performance monitoring\n3. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff\n4. Excellent communication skills, listening and negotiation skills in order to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly through various means, including written and oral communications with all levels of the organization up to and including executive management\n5. Experience with Oracle Communications Suite desired. Wireless industry experience preferred \n6. Demonstrates ability to define and manage processes. Six Sigma methodology familiarity preferred
