Job Description: This is an entry level position reporting into the Corporate Internal Audit leadership team. Under the direction of a more senior staff member, the successful candidate will participate in the planning, execution and completion of audit fieldwork in areas that have been assessed to have a significant risk to the Company. Audits will include reviews of significant process areas and/or Sarbanes Oxley controls and are intended to: . Assess the soundness, adequacy and application of financial and operational controls to ensure effectiveness . Ascertain the extent of compliance with established policies, procedures and business practices . Identify opportunities for increasing operational efficiencies and strengthening management controls . Identify constructive and value-added solutions to address issues identified . Recommend operational improvements to ensure that proper controls are exercised over all aspects of the business.
The successful candidate will also conduct specialized projects in various financial areas to address management inquiries or concerns.
