Are you our next Superintendent Quality Assurance? We are currently seeking an Superintendent Quality Assurance for our FishHawk, Florida location. The Quality Assurance lead position will lead and manage, measure, and implement the Mosaic quality vision/initiatives for the Phosphates business unit and will liaise with commercial teams and global customer base to support the supply chain, marketing and sales strategies. This position will also assist with the same issues for international operating facilitates producing Phosphates products. In addition, this person will direct and supervise phosphates quality direction and product stewardship activities and will develop and manage quality initiatives and product integrity control.
What will you do? * Lead and manage quality group activities, while benchmarking quality function vs. best in class organizations for Mosaic's phosphates operations. Work with plant managers, commercial teams, and third-party entities as key quality touch point/liaison to customers in all international markets. Direct and supervise phosphates quality direction, technical support and product stewardship activities. Develop and manage quality initiatives and product integrity control in order to minimize customer concerns.
* Work with Product Development in Stage Gate Process. Asses and develop quality improvement systems and initiatives.
* Manage customer relations for the Quality team. Provide recommendations to senior management for customer issue resolution. Develop and execute department budget.
* Develop and coach employees in order to retain and expand organizational talent through focused attention and effort. Provide timely and constructive feedback on a regular basis to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles and the business. Manage performance issues when necessary. Work with employees on their career development plans.
* Responsible for ensuring employees and contractor groups under his/her control are made aware of pertinent health, safety, and environmental hazards and aspects.
* Ensures appropriate follow up on issues that arise out of the audits and inspections. Position Requirements
What do you need for this role? * Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Chemical/Technical discipline or 7 years Industrial experience with a Customer Service focus. * 7 years of technical experience focusing on customer service and product knowledge required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills. Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills. Strong leadership and relationship-building skills are required. Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels within the organization and across multiple sites. Strong decision making skills
* Physical work environment is typically indoors at a consistent temperature.
