The eBay Legal Department is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to provide support to eBay’s Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, and the US Litigation team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable with technology, discreet and adept at multi-tasking. Primary job responsibilities include: * Heavy management of SVP calendar; prioritize and schedule (and reschedule) meetings. * Project management experience with assisting SVP’s to-do list and seeing them through. * Arrange SVP’s travel plans and itineraries. * Monitor SVP’s email and keep him alert of highly-sensitive items. * Assist in drafting correspondence, memoranda and other work product. * Scheduling (Microsoft Outlook) & coordinating meetings and events (e.g. catering orders, video conference coordination, other logistics). * Partnering and networking with other administrative assistants in order to manage calendars, obtain information, and solve problems. * Working on operational matters such as budgeting & organizational charts (e.g. monthly/annual budget exercises). Providing day-to-day administrative support for teams/assist with various company systems. * Editing and formatting correspondence, spreadsheets and presentations. Partnering with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments and resolve payment issues for settlements and outside counsel/vendors. * Intake, Processing, Tracking and Routing high volume of Lawsuits, Subpoenas and other Legal correspondence and documents. * Maintaining group calendars and meetings; assisting with travel arrangements, conference registrations and expense reports. * Working with external partners and vendors (e.g. outside counsel). * Planning and coordinating team meetings and events. * Maintaining knowledge as to the whereabouts of team members, how to reach them (e.g. redirecting requests to team members who are traveling or unavailable). * Assisting with special projects as they arise.
