Production/Application Support Analyst
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Production/Application Support Analyst for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial clients in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities: This role is a Production Support, Level 2 role. Daily tasks will include the research of incident tickets, researching a solution to symptoms reported in the ticket. The goal is to quickly mitigate impact to the customer, and to determine root cause with the end game being able to prevent recurrence of the incident. Required Skills: SQL - successful candidate must be proficient in the authoring of complex queries, sometimes joining many tables. These queries are used on a daily basis to research incidents and determine root cause. Incident Management: successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an application support role, skilled in Incident Management. This entails researching incidents to determine how to mititate client impact and determine root cause. Leadership - successful candidate will also possess experience and expertise in leading teams of 3-5 staff members.
