Job Description: Enterprise Application services (EAS) is a part of Strategic Enterprise Services (SES) and is responsible for providing ERP and CRM solutions. Enterprise Application Services (EAS) is a multinational organization with 200 employees residing in the US, India, Ireland, China, Singapore and Denmark. Enterprise Application Services (EAS) has an annual budget of more than $80 million. We are looking for an experienced Business Manager who will be an integral member of a growing, dynamic team that is responsible for world-class ERP solution design across the entire breadth of Microsoft''s businesses. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Enterprise Application Services (EAS), the Business Manager will run the Enterprise Application Services (EAS) rhythm of business, drive financial accountability and coordinate strategic activities across EAS. The Business Manager will act as trusted advisor to the General Manager and Enterprise Application Services (EAS) Leadership team on the development and execution of key initiatives such as vendor strategy, site strategy, and org structure design. Key Responsibilities: .Partner with IT Finance to ensure organizational and project financial targets are set and communicated, with tools and process in place to support the tracking and reporting of actuals versus budget. .Lead rhythm of business cadence including weekly staff, monthly business reviews, and leadership team off-sites. .Partner with PMO to drive the planning process resulting in clear and achievable book of work with corresponding resource plan. .Participate in the strategy and negotiation of contracts with external vendors. .Publish monthly EAS scorecards including ownership of metrics gathering and variance explanations. .Manage ad-hoc projects on behalf of GM and EAS leadership team. .Promote and manage the MSIT Rewards and Recognition program within EAS. .Build presentations materials for General Manager. Experience and Qualifications: .8+ years related work experience, preferably with information technology background. .BA/BS or equivalent required, with information technology/accounting/finance focus preferred. .Proven ability to communicate and work effectively at all levels across the organization. .Excellent cross-group collaboration and demonstrated virtual team leadership capabilities. .Outstanding written and verbal communication capability. .Strong problem solving skills. .Very organized. Ability to clearly prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in parallel. .Ability to manage short, medium, and long-term planning horizons concurrently. .Must think strategically about business issues and organizational strategy. .High personal accountability for self and others. Required skills: 8+ years of business management experience supporting a large IT organization and strong accounting, finance focus Proven ability to communicate and work effectively at all levels across the organization.
