Job Description role reporting to the Ecosystem Engineering Progam Office Director, is a pivotal role responsible for building and leading cross functional VMware and Partner teams to ensure successful delivery of a partner engagement. In this role, the Senior Engagement Manager will drive the entire engagement delivery process from opportunity assessment, project scoping, resource planning, technical implementation to project delivery. This role will be the single point of escalation for engagement issues that need management involvement to resolve. While managing the partner engagement, this role will require technical expertise in both the VMware technology and the partner technology. The Senior Engagement Manager will be expected to develop deep partner relationships to enable successful delivery and lay the foundation for future opportunities for collaboration with partners. The successful candidate must be a dynamic self-starter and creative in solving tough problems and in the process pleasing their assigned partners as they adopt the VMware solution stack.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree, Master Degree preferred.
- 8+ years Program Management experience in a development, partner, or customer facing role.
- 5+ years managing teams in a technical environment
- PMP/PMI certification
