Description The Senior Systems Analyst/Solutions Architect is the person who organizes the development effort of a systems solution in our Information Services organization. The Solutions Architect (SA) is responsible for the development of the overall vision that underlies the projected solution and transforms that vision through execution into the solution. The SA becomes involved with a project at the time of inception and is involved in the Functional analysis (FA) of developing the initial requirements, the conceptual approach, preliminary design, and detailed design. The SA consults with the QA organization on the testing approach and reviews the submitted test plan and test cases to ensure that all aspects of the functional and non functional requirements are appropriately tested. Finally, the SA works with the Information Services Data Quality lead to integrate all pre and post implementation data quality requirements into the overall design. Responsibilities: o Provides expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design documentation, o Work with technical writers to ensure quality internal and external client-oriented documentation o Provide end to end solution and design details o Lead development of formalized solution methodologies o Build and maintain repository for deliverables, methodologies, and business development documents o Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources. Collaborates with Project Managers and resource managers to provision estimates, develop overall implementation solution plan, and serve lead as required, to implement installation, customization, and integration efforts o Oversee aspects of project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design and implementation phases for projects within solution area Education/Experience o Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. o 10+ years experience required Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required) o Expert ability to work independently and manage one s time (Required) o Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
