The successful candidate for the Engineering Standards and Training Development Specialist will be a key contributor to the Global Technologies team's commitment to lead the effort to develop and document new & existing standards and best practices for GEHC. These documents are key to reducing development time, driving commonality, globalization and are also a key part of the overall RoHS and FDA compliance efforts. Essential Responsibilities . Work with engineers to development clear, concise, and precise documents to provide best practices and standard procedures to the GEHC engineering teams, globally. . Project manage the development of standards and best practices. Develop and use execution control mechanisms to ensure the timely development of the documents. . Do all necessary work (edit, proof read, format) to ensure that documents conform to the defined GEHC templates. . Process all documents through the review process and the MyWorkshop approval process. . Development training classes and work with MyLearning to make classes available globally. . Utilize initiative and independent judgment to develop new or update existing engineering standards, applied practices, and best practices. . Define, identify, develop and manage common RoHS compliant parts for use across GEHC Qualifications/Requirements . A High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years experience working with technical teams to deliver engineering documentation . Have demonstrated ability to write, edit, format, etc. technical documents . Excellence in MS Office tools . Experienced MyWorkshop user, Junior Librarian and power user for MyLearning . Have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and technical communications skills . Have demonstrated ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments . Ability to meet firm deadlines and execute projects globally . Ability to interact and address the needs of multiple stakeholders . Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time . Must be willing to work in the Waukesha, WI location full-time . Must be willing to submit to a drug test, and background check - to include verification of previous employment, criminal history and educational background.
