Videojet Technologies, Inc. is seeking a talented & dynamic individual to fill the position of Regulatory Engineer in Wood Dale, Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing organization. The incumbent will be responsible for defining regulatory standards and implementing regulatory programs to ensure our products meet existing, evolving, and emerging regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be working directly with safety and regulatory agencies such as UL and TuV to ensure agency approval for products. The qualified candidate will stay current with upcoming compliance regulations like RoHS2 and develop processes and plans to ensure legacy products continue to meet new standards.
Responsibilities
· Define regulatory and safety requirements and road map for new and legacy Videojet equipment and related hardware products
· Work with regulatory agencies to understand upcoming changes in regulations and determine in advance impact to new and legacy Videojet equipment and related hardware products
· Enforce regulatory and safety standards during new product development
· Develop processes to ensure that legacy equipment remains compliant with current and upcoming regulations
· Ensure existing products are up to date on compliance standards and specifications
· Review Country/Region specific regulations for global deployment of products
Requirements
· A Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
· 10 years in regulatory compliance for new and legacy products; experience with industrial products a plus
· Experience with regulatory agencies such as UL, TuV, and CE regulations is required
· Experience and knowledge of RoHS, RoHS2, etc.
· Demonstrated ability to drive process through an engineering organization
· Current with safety and regulatory requirements for industrial equipment
