SAIC''s Mission Support Business Unit is soliciting resumes for a Senior Web Designer / Developer / DBA to provide assistance to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence OUSD(I) at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. To be considered for this opportunity candidates MUST have a current Top Secret security clearance and SCI access. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will assist users in the office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (I) (Strategy, Programs, and Resources) (DUSD(SP&R)) to best utilize the capabilities of computer resources. The candidate filling this position may perform data entry tasks as well as tasks involved in design and initiation of output report generation. The candidate must be technically oriented and will work with data bases, website, as well as word processing functions to review current procedures and policies for automating the process, not just the product. The candidate will serve as a point of contact for users experiencing problems with their systems. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: creating, updating, backing up and securing data bases at the request of systems users or supervisors; performing data entry tasks; initiating generation of reports; and training personnel in the use of available computer systems and programs in one-on-one informal sessions. The candidate will research questions from personnel regarding the use of available computer systems and programs, what information is available, how to generate reports and how to input and retrieve information. The candidate will ensure that computer equipment is kept in good operating condition and that supplies such as paper and ribbon are purchased as needed. The candidate will answer questions for users experiencing difficulties using their systems and refer complex problems to specialists. The candidate will review systems failures or error messages to determine software or hardware problems and identify the steps necessary to resolve problems, as well as call vendors and refer complex problems to appropriate systems personnel. The candidate will maintain the OUSD(I) databases and websites, and assist programmers and system planner with the design and implementation of new system capabilities. Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: An Bachelor''s degree and in a related field and 12+ years of experience is desired. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint, and MS Project is required. Experience in website maintenance and general database theory is required. Current TS/SCI security clearance.
