Position Description Job Overview: Corporate Paralegal supporting SunGard's company secretarial function for various Asia Pacific jurisdictions.
Duties and Responsibilities: . You will assist the existing Singapore based Corporate paralegal supervisor with Asia Pacific company secretarial work . You will co-ordinate with SunGard's existing global Corporate paralegal team in providing the full range of corporate secretarial services to SunGard . You will be required to draft company resolutions, minutes and other secretarial documents as required . You will assist in coordinating and reviewing required company secretarial documents prepared by external resources in the Asia Pacific region . You will assist with SunGard's statutory filings for its corporate entities across the Asia Pacific region . You will provide assistance and support to the SunGard corporate legal team as and when required . You will interface with other SunGard departments both in the Asia Pacific region and in the US, including Treasury, Tax and Finance as required and as related to company secretarial matters Position Requirements Knowledge/Experience: Essential Experience Required; . Minimum five (5) years' corporate secretarial experience preferred or extensive experience in a corporate environment . Specific company secretarial activities experience in Asia Pacific jurisdictions Desirable Experience Required; . Experience of working with Asia Pacific outside counsel and corporate secretarial resources . Ability to interact with different levels of personnel, including senior executive management both within and outside the Asia Pacific region
Qualifications: . Paralegal certification desirable Skills: Essential Skills Required; . Strong IT skills (proficiency in Windows based applications, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) Desirable Skills Required; .
