Description:

SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer. The primary work site for the contract will be the contractor's facilities (or home) unless otherwise required per task order. Travel may be required to CONUS and OCONUS locations for training services.
Job Description:
- Develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with JCMS Training. Work with a variety of writing tools (Acrobat, Arbortext, Author-it, CorelDraw, DITA, FrameMaker, Freehand, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PageMaker, Paint Shop Pro, RoboHelp, SGML, various screen capture programs, Ventura, or XML). As well as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Visio.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree
- 5 years' experience technical writing or software and hardware documentation.
- Work with a variety of writing tools (Acrobat, Arbortext, Author-it, CorelDraw, DITA, FrameMaker, Freehand, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PageMaker, Paint Shop Pro, RoboHelp, SGML, various screen capture programs, Ventura, or XML). Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Visio.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and Visio.
- Excellent communications and relationship skills are required as this position regularly interacts with contractor and government personnel.
- Active Security Clearance: Secret
