Job Responsibilities/Project Details (also include work environment)

This is an immediate need for the right person. Must be willing to travel 50% of the time , in PA, NJ and DE .

The primary role as Senior Systems/Solutions Engineer is to assess, design, and implement a solution platform (see technical skills below) along with other virtual desktop project solutions. In addition, as required the candidate may occasionally provide engineering sales support during pre-sales activities in prospective customer situations, support of RFP responses, participation in customer

pilots/proof of concepts, and collaboration with partners and vendors.


Must be able to work in diverse and challenging client settings as the Client's key point of contact. The Senior Engineer

will be responsible for project leadership, solutions design, implementation and direct client interaction. Good

communications skills are required and the desire to lead a team of highly technical individuals is also needed.


Must be able to handle existing technologies and client environments with a strategic eye towards future state

architectures and detailed product solutions. The candidate must be a self-starter able to perform independently

as well as part of any project team. Initiative and flexibility are important characteristics and behaviors.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead or participate in one or more company product assessments, designs and implementations

focused in the following technologies:

o Virtual Desktop technologies

o Access and Identity Management

o Active Directory services

o Virtual Server technologies

o Workspace management tools

o Systems Management technologies

o Virtual Printing technologies


. Conduct and support the implementation of company product technologies at customer sites and remotely working with customer network and IT personnel

. Serve as subject matter expert across product technologies

. Perform on-site technology readiness assessments of product technologies

. Present the strategic benefits of implementing a product solution

. Assist in the development of project plans, architectural plans and statements of work

. Work with project managers and assigned customers to perform assigned responsibilities described in

project plans and/or statements of work to deliver milestones on-time and within budget

. Install, coordinate and configure product based technology software and solutions at customer sites

. Troubleshoot customer technical issues

. Provide on-site training to customer personnel across all product technology components

. Participate in scheduled project meetings and coordinate ad-hoc meetings with customer representatives


 

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS


. 6-8+ years of professional and senior technical experience across numerous technology products

. Experience with Internet, LAN/WAN, Wireless and remote access network infrastructure technologies

. Extensive experience with Active Directory Forest and domain designs, deployments, support and

troubleshooting

. Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 server, XP, Vista and Windows 7 desktops

. VMware vSphere ESX, ESXi and vCenter

. VMware VIEW VDI

. Microsoft Terminal Services 2003 and 2008

. Citrix Presentation Server

. Citrix XenDesktop VDI

. Citrix XenServer

. Broad and deep understanding of Windows DNS, WINS, Domain and OU design, configuration and

management and the inter dependent nature of each technology as it relates to high performance name

resolution and authentication

. Experience in the development of customized scripts using batch files, visual basic scripts and PowerShell

. Experience with end user desktop experience optimization approaches and techniques to providing a

consistent user experience

. Experience with workspace management technologies

. Experience with Imprivata OneSign Single Sign-On

. Experience with Identity Management technologies

. Experience/familiar with context management technologies

. Application integration and deployment approaches using traditional and virtualization technologies

including server based computing, streaming and

. Experience/familiar with biometric, active/passive proximity and multi-factor authentication and access

management technologies and solutions

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


. Bachelor*s degree in technical or business field

. Microsoft MCSE, MCITP, MCDST, MCSA

. VMware VCP, VCAP, VCDX

. Citrix CCA for XenApp and XenDesktop

. Previous healthcare IT or IT sales or customer implementation experience

. Familiarity with and experience in hospital environment
