Overview:
The Manager, IT Applications reports to the Director, IT and leads the IT Applications team. The team is responsible for overseeing the implementation, support, and ongoing management of the applications used by DDC to run its day to day business. This includes ERP, CRM, knowledge base, ticketing, and other assorted business apps. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills are a must. Qualified candidates will have experience leading cross departmental teams in the implementation and support of business applications, and posses at least 5 years of proven success deploying and supporting business applications, including ERP and CRM. Strong desire to be hands-on required. This position is part of our IT team – a dynamic and highly-valued asset to the company. Responsibilities:
* Oversight of technical implementation, support and maintenance of DDC ERP and CRM applications * Work with management, Business Analysts, and subject matter experts to understand and Interpret business needs * Serve as central coordinator between operations and finance for implementation of technical aspects of ERP and CRM systems * Define and own configuration and change management processes for enterprise applications, ensuring no disruptions to day-to-day business * Serve as ERP and CRM functional expert and technical liaison to business for all IT supported applications * Define and oversee creation of technical architecture for ERP, CRM and all IT supported applications * Document ERP and CRM systems, including configurations, processes, and system policiies * Work with training team to develop appropriate application training resources for end-users * Supervise IT applications team, including prioritization of requests for enhancements and day to day support issues * Work with system administration staff to: * Define requirements for hardware platforms to support IT applications * Define requirements for uptime and monitoring of ERP, CRM and other IT supported applications * Coordinate configuration changes, patches, and upgrades to IT applications within specified change and preventive maintenance windows * Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills Required: * Outstanding organizational, managerial, and interpersonal relationship skills required * Strong oral and written communications skills * Team player with ability to work with multiple vendors and multiple internal departments * Strong project management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects, and keep all projects to timeline and budget * General knowledge of business processes and their implementation within ERP and CRM systems * Ability to hire, manage, and supervise staff assigned to the IT Applications Team * Some hands-on configuration of IT application software, including Microsoft ERP and CRM products * Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Education and Experience: BS in IT, Software Engineering, or related field preferred, but comparable work experience will be considered. PMP preferred. The Ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years experience in managing a team supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ERP, CRM and other business applications. Experience with Microsoft ERP and CRM solutions preferred.
