.NET Application Programmer/Analyst JOB DESCRIPTION The .NET Application Programmer Analyst will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing .NET and SQL Server based applications that meet data integrity, performance, and security objectives. This position will work to produce and deliver clear designs, concise technical documentation, and provide business application validation. Responsible for resolving technical issues as well as understanding and analyzing business needs.
SCOPE OF POSITION Performs basic application architecture and design. Codes new projects, software corrections, and product enhancement. Supports QA testing. Provides unit testing of code. Reviews business requirements and help compose technical requirements. Assists in database maintenance and data imports. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS In-depth knowledge of development tools and applications using SQL relational databases. Good understanding of / CSS/JavaScript and Ajax / HTML / Unit testing / Source control and continuous integration. Ability to interpret functional specifications, design applications to those specifications, and complete the programming with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of SQL Server is required (including T-SQL: Triggers and Stored Procedures). Highly developed, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications. Strong analytical, documentation, application optimization and project management skills. Knowledge of and the ability to implement best practices and software design patterns. Experience in supporting Internet applications (Sales and Marketing, B2B Commerce, Forecasting, Multi Media) a plus. EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION Bachelors Degree required in Computer Science or related technical field. 3-5 years information technology experience is required. Web development experience in . General Network and Server troubleshooting/software maintenance experience is helpful. Experience in a Manufacturing environment a plus
