At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a seasoned BI (Business Intelligence) Developer in our Melville, NY location.
The BI Developer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement and support of Business Intelligence (reporting) applications. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a good understanding of enterprise-class IT development methodologies, and demonstrate solid skills in analyzing and decomposing business processes. This individual must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrate a team-oriented, goal and results-driven work ethic. The role requires working collaboratively with the business community and other BI team members on the definition, construction and deployment of reports, metrics and analytic components within a dynamic and high profile Business Intelligence environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Relevant College degree or equivalent experience - 3 – 5 Years of BI/Data Warehouse experience - Knowledge of OBIEE (Siebel Analytics) is required, and familiarity with BI Publisher is preferred - Experience with requirements gathering - Excellent communication / presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Siebel Data Warehouse Developer Certification a plus - Working knowledge of Oracle EBS and/or certification is a plus - Teradata experience a plus - Previous OBIEE implementation experience would be highly valued - Experience with OBIEE as a lead technician / administrator is a plus - Experience in interacting with multiple internal departments and offshore resources - Experience in the Distribution industry is a plus
