Position Description/Responsibilities:
Software Tester/Quality Assurance Specialist
Looking for an individual who can help drive 'Best Practices' in Quality Assurance. Experience with the Agile Methodology is preferred. Experience with Automation Testing Tools is a plus!
This person will be assuming a role that will help 'showcase' the quality output for this environment. This process is a pilot initiative that will support how the Quality Assurance phase is a successful approach to a groundup development effort.
The position is part of a team approach and is 'hands on.'
This candidate will help drive the overall testing capability of the IT group. He/she will help drive the design, pilot, & implementation of the software quality assurance review process. Additionally, he/she will work with application teams during pre & post assessment periods. This candidate will work with end users to develop testing scenarios and develop testing strategies.
Responsibilities: * Help develop Quality Assurance standards * Hands on Quality Assurance * Assist in software activities in defined span of control for the organization. * Track and monitor process and work product improvement opportunities. * Collect, review, and evaluate the project's required work products against standard work product templates * Monitor progress of action item resolution activity and ensure appropriate internal stakeholders are aware of pending deadlines. * Conduct training courses with project teams on software quality review process.
Position Requirements/Technical Skills:
Experience with Automation Testing Tool Products and developing Quality Assurance Procedures from scratch is a plus.
