ESSI is a Research Department in Electronic Systems and Ic design. The main areas are power management (ranging from mains connected to power scavaging sensor nodes), electronic interfaces to sensors and actuators, embedded system architectures and integration. The group is particually active in electronic systems for Solid State Lighting, and In-body electronics in the Healthcare applications.
Your Responsibilities: You will be working as a systems architect of electronic systems. You'll be working in a team with other system architects and IC designers. Your area of expertise would preferably be Solid State Lighting, or In-body Eectronics.
Your Profile: - Electrical engineering background with a strong electronic systems and IC design component; - Experienced in conducting Research, for instance a PhD, yet driven towards practical results that make an impact; - Interested in multidisciplenary projects; - Preferrably some experience in a business, with an understanding of roadmaps and markets.
