Job activities include: Install and configure SQL server 2000/2005/2008. You will be responsible for creating, monitoring, backup, recovery, and tuning SQL Server databases in an environment that crosses multiple platforms. Assist in resolving application specific problems, and answer general questions concerning SQL Servers functionality and correct/efficient usage within applications. Evaluate database design and make recommendations for changes/redesigns. Develop SSIS packages from heterogeneous data sources. Develop dash board reports and executive reports. Consult with developers to offer recommendations for performance improvement. Develop/modify system documentation. Conduct system performance monitoring.

Strong knowledge in T- SQL, , Strong knowledge of work experience on SQL Server stored procedures, Views, Functions. Strong Knowledge in SQL Server 2008/2005 integration services, able to develop SSIS packages from heterogeneous data sources. Strong Knowledge in SQL Server SQL Server 2008/2005 reporting services, able to develop dash board reports and executive reports with good presentation skills. Strong knowledge required in data mining and data manipulation techniques. SQL Server DBA Responsibilities: (40%). Installing and configuring SQL server 2000/2005/2008. Strong knowledge in Backup and Restore SQL Server 2000/2005 databases.
