Project Description: Defense Logistics Agency is a joint service agency. They have one of the largest supply-chain operations providing the armed forces with their food, fuel, medical supplies, uniforms, repair parts, and more. DLA was the first military agency to roll out a fully operational enterprise resource planning system. This program is the largest single implementation of SAP throughout the public and private sectors. Job Description: PSS is seeking a talented ABAP Developer to be responsible for the development and validation of the conversion program and ultimate migration of legacy data from DAISY into the DLA EBS SAP system. Daily duties will include: ? Work closely with client technical team to identify data sources ? Close coordination with functional teams to capture all data migration requirements ? Development of new conversion programs and utilities as needed through ABAP or LSMW ? Thorough mock testing and technical validation of conversion programs ? Coordination of mock validation activities by business users ? Estimating conversion runtimes and detailing dependencies for cutover planning ? Execution of conversion programs during the upgrade cutover ? Coordination of productive cutover validation activities by business users ? Work with process team to clarify existing requirements, as required ? Complete assigned deliverables on time and within budget ? Deliver quality work products in compliance with both Accenture and client standards ? Ensure that all documentation is completed and stored in the EBS Workbench as specified by the project standards ? Participate in the peer review process - review and provide feedback on other team member's documentation ? Keep team lead aware of status and issues that have the possibility of affecting deadlines before deadlines are jeopardized (informally as well as formally on a weekly basis) ? Complete project management tasks accurately and in a timely manner (status, t-doc, time report) ? Provide support to other EBS team including basis, change management, KT&T, archiving, security, etc. ? Required Skills: ? SAP ABAP and LSMW ? 5 years of conversion experience
