Responsible for manually billing a variety of contract types including FFP (Progress Pay), CPFF and T&M within the required deadlines determined by the department. Understand the key principles of how to prepare invoices for multiple contract types and also understand the particular contract billing requirements for the contracts assigned. Provide unbilled analysis and reconciliation of billings to cost reports. Responsible for electronic submission in WAWF or any other method as described in the contract. Responsible for entering billing data into ITR to aid in the analysis of billing metrics. Must be able to work with and communicate at all levels within the organization. Maintain billing folders in an organized fashion and keep filings up to date. Billing Folder should include latest copy of the invoice prepared, contract brief, contract award, mods and any correspondence. Ensure the approved invoice is saved on the shared drive.
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma with 7 years of accounting related work experience (advanced degree in lieu of experience will be considered). Strong Excel skills. Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Business/Finance/Accounting Degree. Prior billing or government contracting experience preferred. SAP knowledge desirable.
