Administrative Assistant
Northrop Grumman Technical Services in Huntsville, AL is looking for an Administrative Assistant to report to one of the two NG Deputy to the
Boeing Ground Based Mid-Course Defense Integrated Product Team leads. Supports NG director level deputy IPT leads and the NG staff of 80 - 100 personnel for the Ground based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Development and Sustainment program located on-site at Boeing facilities. The candidate will perform a full range of administrative functions within a fast-paced environment where the work load and priorities change quickly. The candidate must have the ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. The candidate must interact and communicate effectively with people at all levels
of management, employees, and customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: the integration and development
of PowerPoint presentations; tracking and maintaining information relative to program and business operations; coordination, tracking and integration of program and business status reporting; planning and orchestrating meetings;
arranging travel and completing expense reports; coordination of program projects and the execution of special assignments; and maintenance of the deputy IPT lead's calendar. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate meetings, status reporting and calendars with Boeing administrative assistant counterparts.
Basic Qualifications: *High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years work experience
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
*Knowledge of NG policies and procedures
*Working knowledge of Concur travel & Edge expense reporting systems
*Excellent communication, both written and oral, and
interpersonal skills are essential
*Proactive, resourceful, well-organized and highly motivated
*Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications: *Proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced user of
PowerPoint
*Experience with sharecenter or share point type document management systems
