Administrative Assistant I
I. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Performs a variety of general clerical and routine administrative duties, which includes data entry, maintaining of databases and files.
II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties and responsibilities which occupy a major portion of time and importance in the job. Incumbent(s) perform one or more of the following duties.)
1. Compiles, checks and prepares a variety of general reports which may be relatively technical in nature.
2. Coordinates status of documents and reports. Updates and prepares listing of weekly or monthly status reports.
3. Monitors various documents to ensure the format is correct and appropriate policies and procedures are correctly carried out.
4. Compiles, catalogues and maintains information on materials and documents. May interface with requestors and direct them to location of specific items.
5. Maintain meeting minutes and may coordinate action items
6. Proofreads records, forms, letters and other documentation for typographical and other mistakes.
7. May arrange travel schedules and makes appropriate reservations.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:-Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -Very organized and motivated
