Job Title Advanced Engineer - Safety Job ID Number 599237 Company Advanced Information Systems Location McLeansville, NC Job Category Information Technology Job Description Job Description: -Develop deliverable system safety products (e.g., System Safety Program Plan, Preliminary Hazard Analysis, System Hazard Analysis, Operating a& Support Hazard Analysis, and Safety Assessment Report)-Provide input for the integration of safety, survivability, human and other engineering requirements in the development of government systems-Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices within engineering efforts from experience, historical data, and other information sources.-Assist in identifying and recognizing potential hazards in existing and future systems, equipment, products, software, facilities, processes, operations, and procedures during the equipment life cycle.-Develop/recommend hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs.-Thorough knowledge of MIL-STD 882 series and other safety related reference documents.-Familiarity with system safety analysis techniques to include energy trace and barrier analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, Operations & Support Hazard Analysis, and fault tree analysis.-Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification helpful but not Requirements: Masters with min 3 years equivalent experience or Bachelors with min 5 years equivalent experience.
