Aegis Simulation Operator to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. Work as a member of a NGTS team supporting the Aegis Training Tools program. We are seeking a highly motivated person to serve as a U.S. Navy Aegis Simulation Operator to operate Navy simulation equipment in support of Aegis training. Testing of new simulation systems and development of tactical scenarios to run on simulators. Requires occassional shift work. Very minimal travel anticipated.
Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• U.S. Navy training experience required
• Experience with training concepts and techniques required
• Must have a minimum of four plus (4 ) years relevant computer / simulation experience
• Excellent and well founded, written and oral communication skills are absolutely essential
• Must have experience with US Navy Aegis CIC operations or similar type of operational experience
• Requires a team-oriented mindset and demonstrate flexibility with client and meet demanding deadlines
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current and active U.S. Secret level security clearance to be selected. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• A-STATS experience is a plus.
• Experience with MULTOTS is highly desirable.
• Experience with CCD, and CEP WASP is preferred .
