Title: AGS Sourcing Analyst GL- (36) Location: California-CA,Santa Clara
Responsibilities
The AGS Sourcing Analyst reports to the Souring Finance Manager. The AGS Sourcing Finance Analyst is responsible for delivering finance analysis in support of the After Market Sourcing Head. He/she will be working with the After Market Sourcing leadership team to ensure that the organization delivers to its business commitments.
* Analyzes, interprets, and prepares financial forecast in support of AGS. * Assist the After Market Sourcing Head with the gathering and analysis of overall AGS Material Cost spend with emphasis on the indenitfiication of supplier cost savings and rationalization opportunities. * Supports development of the Supplier Roadmap to include supplier evaluation and selection, negotiation and rationalization. * Compiles product cost reduction roadmaps in conjunction with Business Unit Materials, Business Unit Engineering, and Global Commodity organizations. * Responsible for the delivery of the tools and analytics such as target costing, "should cost", and commodity and supplier spend analysis. * Supports the performance management process, providing the appropriate dashboard of financial and non-financial business metrics and analysis.
Job Specific Knowledge
* Expert knowledge of financial planning and analysis * Proven competencies, particularly in the area of communications, negotiations, presentations, financial analysis and related decision-making, problem solving, financial modeling and forecasting * Excellent interpersonal skills, team building skills, and customer relationship skills * Expert knowledge of Microsoft Applications and exposure to major ERP applications
Skills * Project leadership skills, advanced negotiation skills, innovative skills, established communication skills, develop and execute effective presentations to senior managers, plate management and CPI, lead teams, behavioral interviewing skills, basic management skills, established understanding of internal and external applications, global perspective.
Education
* Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university with a major in accounting or finance. * CPA and/or MBA preferred. * 4 years of experience in the finance and/or accounting leadership roles. * Operations Finance Experience with a focus on systems and continuous process improvement.
