Job Summary Provide technical support for internal UPS employees at the Global Operations Center Building.
Job Description Identifies, supports, monitors, and resolves technical issues on hardware, software and UPS airline and Louisville applications such as: CMS, Airows, SMS, Flight Explorer, Aircraft Routing, Mesco, Netline and AFC. Performs troubleshooting to resolve computer hardware, software and network problems and escalates to the next level as needed. Daily activities will include technical problem resolution, follow-up and problem logging. Job involves the movement and replacement of workstations, monitors, printers and cable management.
Minimum Required Skills Minimum of 2 years technology support experience or equivalent education. Exposure to airline applications (Aircraft Routing, CMS, Airows, Netline and Mesco.) Previous experience in Microsoft Office Systems (Window XP and Windows 7). Knowledge of MS Office Suite. Must be able to think analytically and have excellent customer service skills. Ability to physically move computer equipment.
Additional Skills Help desk experience is a plus, A+certified in PC hardware and software preferred.
Interpersonal Skills Ability to interact and work well together in a team environment. Must have the ability to handle stress. Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude.
Work Environment Fast pace business office consisting of 10 technicians. Office is located in the Global Operations Center. Work attire is business casual.
