Major Job Duties Include: Configuration and further development of Stability Control Systems for high performance and electric vehicles. Configuration and further development of ESP controller software components (application layer) using C and ASCET as software development environment. Analysis of customer requirements. Development of function specifications. Design and implementation of solutions, code and design reviews. Design of test plans. Performing in- vehicle as well as lab tests. You will interface with our System Development group in Germany. Travel to support in-vehicle testing at winter and summer test tracks and customer meetings as required.
Minimum Requirements Include: *Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Control Systems, Mechanical Engineering with focus on control theory *Experience with methods and tools for function and software development (e.g. requirements Engineering, Matlab Simulink, ASCET, C/C++), ideally for embedded systems *Knowledge in automotive SW techniques, vehicle dynamics or control theory, *Team oriented working style *Flexible, in order to participate in test sessions in different locations (in and outside of the US)
Desired: *Experience with ASCET SD *Knowledge of SW development processes for automotive mass production *German language knowledge
