The Business Sales Quality Assurance, Business Analyst II is responsible for coordinating and writing responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs). The Business Sales organization receives RFPs from prospective and current customers. If it is determined that T-Mobile will pursue the business, a written response including T-Mobile proposed products & services and answers to customer specific questions are created and provided to the customer issuing the RFP. The Business Analyst II is also responsible for projects/programs associated with the RFP program. Assignments vary in scope and duration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage RFP response from initial receipt through delivery.
Work with field sales to ensure proper lead time to deliver completed RFP response within customer deadline.
Create response content as well as coordinate response writing.
Provide guidance on use of approved content in database/repository and on crafting unique responses.
Proofread response for content, grammar, style, and formatting.
Work cross-functionally to gather necessary information for RFP response.
Collaborate with legal counsel.
Ensure appropriate approvals for offer have been obtained by sales team.
Act as focal point for questions, queries to customer, and escalations.
Ensure final product is of high quality, incorporates the strategy and value proposition set by sales, and is consistent with product and company strategy.
Assist in the effort to define, document, communicate and support new RFP processes, programs and initiatives.
* Minimum of 3 years background in quality/program management and/or business analysis.
* Experience drafting and responding to business and government Requests for Proposals.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills (assertive & persuasive).
* Ability to lead and organize cross-functional meetings.
* Interact effectively with senior management.
* Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
* Highly detail oriented with the ability to perform complicated business processes, identify issues, and resolve them quickly and effectively.
* Exposure to field sales, sales operations, account management, customer care and /or business & systems operations.
* Experience drafting and negotiating sales contracts preferred.
* Wireless industry experience preferred.
* Proficient at Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
