Hartco seeks a Dynamics AX Analyst programmer to participate in all phases of development from conception to deployment of specialized applications. He/she must work in designing, testing, writing and modifying programs and solve other problems with software. He/she will be joining a dynamic, flexible and a committed team towards excellence. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and will have a track record of success in development activities.
Responsibilities
* Review functional requirements for completeness and understandability;
* Collect and prepare technical requirements for AX modification, integration, reporting and BI based on functional requirements;
* Organize the technical solution and carry out the analysis as well as the programming required and system maintenance;
* Make recommendations, design and develop the solution based on the requirements;
* Understands the scope of assigned projects, and monitors project issues, as well as deadlines and milestones;
* Present design documents to stakeholders for approval;
* Maintains effective project status tracking through communications with relevant project participants and/or Director;
* Assist on the development and execution of appropriate test plans;
* Provides regular work status reports to the project manager;
* 100% Hands-on Dynamics AX ERP programmer in DAX's MorphX and X++ code;
* Define, carry out and document the unit tests in accordance with the specifications in order to produce deliverable goods of quality;
* Carry out required knowledge transfer;
* Take part in update of the processes and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
* University degree or equivalent experience;
* Minimum of 5 years technical experience in a software development environment;
* Minimum of 3 years of experience on Dynamics AX 2009 using AOT, MorphX environment and X++ development language;
* Working knowledge of Dynamics AX 2009 Application Integration Framework and data structures of Dynamics AX 2009;
* Working knowledge of Dynamics AX 2009 Enterprise Portal on SharePoint;
* Strong background in SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Server Reporting Services;
* Excellent skills in computing, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint;
* Participation in large-scale projects as well as good understanding of information technology (IT) application technologies such as Windows Server 2008, SharePoint, Active Directory, Internet Information Services and the like;
* Sound business acumen and analytical skills;
* Ability to write technical specifications;
* Strong QA ability;
* Strong ability to plan, organize and manage time and activities;
* Efficient, autonomous and able to acquire new knowledge and competences;
* Strong customer interface skills;
* Strong initiative and positive attitude;
* Effective project status documentation skills;
* Experience in Logistics field is an asset;
* Bilingual, French-English, spoken & written is an asset.
