Analyst Programmer
ACCOUNTABILITIES: Apply, maintain and enhance Essar's software systems and architecture, on IBM Mainframe and Wintel platforms. Provide programming services to interface with Company business systems. Provide analytical and design expertise. Provide technical guidance that supports information technology users. Provide technical guidance to recommend and support the implementation of improvements to Information Technology for IT service users. Support and drive the achievement of continuous improvement objectives in departments and align corporate quality improvement projects with the requirements of the current and future market place. QUALIFICATIONS : Must have a minimum 3-year degree in Information Technology OR a minimum 5 years experience in 4 of the 6 areas of accountability listed above. Excellent analytical / trouble shooting skills. Solid understanding of IT systems, software or processes.
