Analyst Programmer (Located in Riga, Latvia) Linedata is recognised as a global leader in the financial technology market. We build and deliver software solutions to meet the needs of clients working in asset management, savings & insurance and leasing & credit finance.Linedata's asset management offering is a complete set of best-of-breed software products, spanning front to back-office. This expansion will provide career opportunities for experienced developers who want to be in at the start of establishing a new international development team in Riga providing services to the Hedge Fund community. Our products run on an Oracle database and have been developed using a variety of technology including PL/SQL, C++, C#/.Net. Future projects include a new GUI using WPF (Silverlight) technology allied to our C#/.Net API, greater Fixed Income asset class coverage and greater integration with the other Linedata product suite. Training will be provided on our products which may require some travel to London. Responsibilities include participating in projects, developing new functionality,maintaining existing product suite, translating business requirements and designs into software solutions, creating and maintaining a centre of excellence for methods and techniques and providing support to internal Service Delivery teams as required and occasionally to clients.
