APPLICATION ANALYST I
FT 80 1st shift Description: The Application Analyst I provides technical implementation and support services to clients in the organization. These services may include application build, education, training, process analysis, troubleshooting, interaction with vendor support services, report development, and progress reporting to management and stakeholders, generally working with issues of a low degree of complexity. Responsibilities include spending the requisite time working with clients to assist in optimizing their usage of enterprise information systems; this will encompass participating in client meetings in order to establish and maintain good working relationships and understanding of client's business IT needs. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum requirements include an Associate degree and two (2) years of experience in healthcare information systems or equivalent (4) years of progressive information systems management experience in a healthcare facility. Must have the ability to interact in an effective manner with clients in a complex environment. Must have the ability to communicate and interact with different levels of management, Information Technology (IT) personnel, and all departmental clients. Must have the ability to coordinate with vendors for resolutions to problems. Must be able to handle high pressure situations. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Material and Equipment Used: PCs, Monitors, Printers, Flat Panel Monitors, Peripheral Devices, servers, software, software troubleshooting tools, vendor supplied utilities, vendor websites, users groups. Special Requirements: On call is on a 24 hour per day 7 day a week basis for issues that cannot be handled otherwise. The analyst may be required to work evenings and weekends as the workload demands.
