Application Support Technician (Sports Media/Graphics/Web/IT)
You will work with our systems engineers to create and improve our SaaS platforms and enhance our current customer's experience. We are implementing and extending new frameworks that make deployment and management easier. However, the tools we use do not define us. What does? Things you will do:
Provide web application support by investigating and resolving basic business application issues or filtering those issues that need to be escalated to senior team members
Develop understanding of technical and business process flow for applications
Execute deployment procedures into pre-production and production environments with appropriate validation by senior team members
Assist in setting up, configuring, maintaining and monitoring assigned business application(s) and related systems
Being involved in the process of communication, and facilitation for high severity incidents
Assist in quality assurance testing of applications
Assist in revision control process in Development through Production environments
Provide after-hours or weekend maintenance as needed
Traits that will make you successful:
Two year Diploma in Information Technology or related certification
Two years Technical Support experience
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 2008 and R2
Experience supporting custom web applications
Project management experience
Proficient with databases- MSSQL
Proficient with Active Directory/Directory Services
Understanding of systems integration
Effectively interact in a courteous and professional manner with all levels of staff
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Professional time and task management skills
Keeping abreast of latest technological solutions
Extensive problem solving and reasoning skills
Taking initiative to keep technology skills current
