Applications Analyst - Financials
The Applications Analyst - Oracle Financials will work on the functional requirements definition, solution design, implementation and maintenance of systems applications. The Applications Analyst - Oracle Financials will work with various IT groups and business users in defining, prioritizing and executing application enhancements and projects. Additionally this role will play the critical role of ensuring that Developers have adequate clarification and support on all business and functional requirements and specifications related to applications.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and query application data schema.
Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical business user constituencies.
Interview various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules/process and then create detailed, specific and comprehensive documentation.
Engage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions.
Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the Project Team, Developer Team and Production Support Team to design and implement an effective solution.
Manage components of a project plan or entire projects.
Verification of feasibility of Business User's request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervision.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent. (Mater’s preferred)
PMI Certification preferred.
5 years of experience in Technology/IT.
3 years of experience with Oracle GL, AP, AR, CE, PA, and FA Application Analysis.
Strong knowledge of Oracle GL, AP, AR, CE, PA, and FA Application functionality.
Strong knowledge of Oracle GL, AP, AR, CE, PA, and FA Application configurations.
Proficiency with SQL based queries.
Experience with iExpenses is highly desired but not a must.
Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies.
Ability to identify system impact for small and large scale initiatives.
Experience with global implementations ofOracle GL, AP, AR, CE, PA, FA and iExpenses Applications.
Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customizations.
Preferred Experience:
Proficiency with MS Project/Visio.
Bi-lingual.
Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
Ability to effectively lead and motivate small project teams.
Achieves results under limited direction.
