Brief Description
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Detailed Description
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Job Requirements
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

The Stores Solution Unit is looking for a Senior Applications Developer. Specific responsibilities include: * Developing new functionality for Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System (ORWMS) * Leading and contributing to design sessions within the team and with customers * Responsible for understanding key business processes/requirements and mapping the functionality to ORWMS. *Preparing the detailed technical design documents and developing thesolution (coding and unit testing) after analyzing the requirements. * Developing and updating the interfaces between ORWMS and other RGBU Applications such as ORMS. * Using new technologies such as SOA, BPEL/BAM within the ORWMS architecture. Required Qualifications: * 5-7+ years overall experience in software engineering with focus on Retail Applications and ORWMS. *Strong Expertise in Oracle RWMS, Oracle Designer, Forms Builder, OracleDeveloper, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, Pro*C, SQL*Plus, Scripting,SQL*Loader * Strong work ethic, Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player * Experience in Solution Analysis, Data Analysis, Business Process Analysis * Excellent verbal and written communication * Preferred: Understanding of Java and Java Concepts and knowledge of other Warehouse Management products Prior to any consideration for this opportunity, Oracle requires that you complete the following 3-step process:
