Currently, 3E Company has an exciting opportunity for an Applications Programmer in our Montreal, QC office.
Responsibilities:
• Work from basic system designs and specifications using standard procedures to maintain, modify and devise new or existing applications programs.
• Use best practices to modify and devise reporting systems of moderate/high complexity and scope.
• Write application code, procedures, functions, and reports.
• Write functional documents under main functional analyst supervision.
• Create, read, analyze, and interpret functional documents and technical procedures.
• Handle a variety of programming assignments.
• Write and test stored procedures, functions and data reporting applications and their related processes.
• Perform unit testing of single modules.
Qualifications:
Skills/Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development using JAVA technologies (J2EE, SWING, JDK, JDBC)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge of SQL within Oracle Database server
• Excellent knowledge of XML
• Development experience with two or more of the following; Visual Basic, ASP 3.0, Java Script, Servlets, HTML, DTD, XSL
• Experience in a 3-tier environment
• Experience with Eclipse IDE
• Experience in preparing test data, testing and debugging programs and reports
• Excellent learning abilities, attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Conceptum E2E platform a plus
• Bilingual (French, English) a plus
• Team player
