SBS Finance provides financial services to Philips businesses worldwide. The aim is to create benefit for Philips by delivering best-in-class processes through driving innovation in cooperation with Philips Finance Excellence Network (FEN), Infosys and customers and to achieve a high level of cross-sector harmonization and automation in the areas of Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), Record to Report (R2R) and rule based controlling. Local cross-sector SBS Finance front office teams deliver the services in cooperation with the offshore-shared service centers of Infosys. SBS Finance is responsible for the overall service delivery and manages the relationships towards local customers and Infosys.
SBS Finance is a business focusing on customer needs and delivering excellent quality and sense and simplicity in financial services at competitive prices to all Philips businesses.
Your Responsibilities: As Assistant Controller within the SBS Finance organization your main responsibility is to ensure complete, timely and accurate financial, accounting and business control processes within SBS Finance and to ensure the preparation and analysis of financial and management information and to ensure the integrity, reliability and predictability of financial results (AOP, RoFo and Actuals).
The dynamic environment of SBS Finance gives you an excellent opportunity to really contribute and add value to the realization of the new Global financial structure of Philips.
Key area's of responsibilities: . Advise and support the Global SBSF Controller of Shared Business Services Finance; . Prepare monthly and quarterly management information reporting on actuals, AOP and RoFo for all stakeholders; . Perform benchmark study on F&A costs and SBS Finance costs; . Manage achievement of EBIT zero at year-end; . Control purchases (PO's & supplier invoices) within Eindhoven central departments; . Control charges from Infosys and invoicing flows to SBSF organizations; . Support the Infosys Contract Manager and Operational Manager Infosys related to contract items with Infosys.
Your Profile: Most important criteria is that you have at least a Bachelors degree in a Business Economics or Finance orientated study with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant Financial experience, e.g. as an Assistant Controller or Financial Analyst. You have a strong business and customer focus combined with great analytical skills. You value Integrity and Business Ethics.
As Philips is a leading company when it comes to the design and execution of its shared service concept, and there is little existing experience available in the market, candidates should feel confident in working within a dynamic and changing organizational context.
Since you will be working in a very international environment, experience with a global focus and intercultural awareness are highly recognized. Due to our fast changing environment it is important that you have a sincere proactive attitude and are eager to drive your own results.
Besides these most important characteristics you have experience with Philips (ICS/SOX) control procedures and the way of working.
