DESCRIPTION:
Time Warner Corporate IT is looking for multiple Associate Analysts to join the Systems Development Run team. Associate Analysts will be based in Tampa and will report to one of two NY Run Team Managers.
The persons in these roles will be responsible for supporting the operations and administration of various systems within one of the following two areas respectively:
- Administration
- Finance/Legal
Besides troubleshooting and handling problem resolution, this Associate Analyst will also design, code/configure, test and document minor enhancements for in-house developed applications and work with vendors in upgrading and maintaining third party tools and packages, including Saas/ASP solutions. This position will report directly to a System Run Team Manager and will work closely with the Build team to indentify, resolve, and implement resolutions in multiple technical environments and in a timely manner.
DUTIES/OBJECTIVES:
. Support operations and administration for relevant systems
. Demonstrate expertise in business continuity and/or knowledge of disaster recovery for supported systems
. Perform application troubleshooting and resolve issues for a wide variety of applications (including both in-house and vendor solutions)
. Design, code/configure, test and document enhancements for in-house developed applications
Resolve all support incidents and issues for externally hosted systems by coordinating with the Technical Assistance from SaaS vendors
. Implement, test, and document minor upgrades and patches for 3rd party vendor packages
. Compile and produce documentation on tracking and trending of issues and their resolution
. Perform application testing during IT Maintenance Windows
. Adhere to internal IT & SOX controls and TW Development standards
. Maintain current tactical understanding of technology trends and tools
. Maintain and enhance technical skills
. Project Management
. Assess technical feasibility of proposed solutions
. Educate Business Systems Analysts and Management regarding technical constraints
. Define application security practices in conjunctions with Information Security Team
. Research and Development of new and relevant technologies
. Transfer knowledge through informal and formal means (documentation)
. Collaborate with team members
. Such other duties as may be required by business needs
REQUIREMENTS:
Overall, we're looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience in IT application development and/or support, skilled in providing Level 1 and Level 2 user support. Analysts must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; as well as be self-motivated, a team player, with the strong desire to learn, and the ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Analysts must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly without sacrificing quality delivered to clients. Specialized program and platform experience varies by area of support.
For the Analyst supporting Administration systems, requirements are as follows:
- Experience in supporting web applications developed in , HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with 3rd party SaaS provider system administration, submitting and managing cases with 3rd party provider
- Strong concepts of OOP, design patterns, deployment strategies, n-tier web architecture, client server architecture and Citrix Metaframe
- Basic understanding of Windows 2003/2008 / Networking / TCP/IP routing & Ports / Load balancer Infrastructure
- Experience with Google Search Appliance device integration
- Experience with Drupal (a plus)
- Experience with Kenexa BrassRing (a plus)
- Experience with ITIL methodology (a plus)
- Experience with MS SharePoint (a plus)
