Associate Lab TSS Tracking Code 303664-778 Job Description Is the Support Center’s Lab Technical Support Specialist in training with responsibility for the successful completion of Lab TSS Development Plan and associated examinations. Completing LMS Lab Level II Development Plan via online and instructor-led classes. Shadowing Lab TSS’s for troubleshooting client issues to resolution. Perform basic troubleshooting investigation. Access all Level II troubleshooting tools and compile investigation summary. Offsite orientation at a client site for a period of 1-2 weeks. Successfully complete a Departmental Checklist, confirmed by Trainer or Team Manager. Successfully complete a comprehensive, written examination. Successfully complete an LIS Checklist, confirmed by Trainer or Team Manager. Successfully build a sample database. Maintaining technical skills up to date with changes in technology. Actively sharing discovered solutions to reported problems with other team members and with SCC Knowledgebase Administrator. Identifying commonly reoccurring problems relating to Lab Support workflow and reports these to the Team Manager. Participates in corporate client service and technical training programs as assigned. Required Skills Proficient in the use of a PC. Proficient in the use GUI applications such as Windows and MS Office. Knowledge of general hospital laboratory operations. A practical understanding of the SCC product. Analytical and problem solving ability. Ability to work independently. Ability to collaborate with other team members. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to workeffectively under stress. Good keyboard/typing abilities. Excellent teaching and presentation skills. Required Experience Any certification or degree in any healthcare (eg. Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, Lab Assistant, Microbiology) or Information Technology related field is highly desirable but not required.
