Associate System Analyst Company: Kratos Job Family: IT Location: Chesapeake, VA Status: Full Time Job Description SYS Technologies, a Kratos Defense & Security Solutions company is in search of a dynamic individual to provide analysis, research and administrative support for the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard Combat System Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS). Perform duties as a CSOSS ship checker, technical writer, editor and developer for CSOSS procedures and system diagrams. Applicant must have a broad knowledge of shipboard Combat System equipments and specific recent operator/technician knowledge of - Shipboard Air/Surface Search Radars and/or Navigation Systems currently installed on U.S. Navy CVN, MCM, LHD, LHA, LCS, LPD, LSD, FFG class ships and Coast Guard Legend Class Maritime Security Cutter. - Shipboard Local Area Networks, Combat Information Systems to include Global Command and Control ? Maritime (GCCS-M), Integrated Shipboard Network Systems (ISNS), etceteras - Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Qualifications Must have the ability to trace shipboard power, cooling water and dry/low pressure air systems aboard ship. Must have the ability to interpret applicable technical documentation including installation drawings and technical manuals to extract the necessary data to develop, edit and ship check CSOSS products. Prefer applicant be familiar with XML, ISO Draw programs, however, training can be provided to a computer literate applicant. Attention to detail and accuracy are a must. Desire U.S. Navy training as Fire Control Technician, or Electronics Technician. Must possess or be eligible for a Secret clearance.
