Responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology. Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software. Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Coordinates design and integration of total system including subsystems. Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems.

Contributes through own development of advanced technologies or concepts with global reach or industry application. Has direct impact on creation of technical products/services and serves as a role model and a mentor.

Oracle EBS-Principal Technical Architect

Engineer, design and implement Oracle E-Business (EBS) solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability. Develop the tech architecture and design solutions for Oracle EBS projects. Build and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite operating environments. Work with internal architecture team, product and sales team to design and architect middleware solutions, provide technical support on upgrades, problem resolution and design issues. Closely works with Operations team for troubleshooting and patching. Expected to work as an individual contributor and provide technical direction and mentor team members.
Summary of Position: This role is responsible for contributing towards building Oracle services for next generation hosting models and implementations and supporting client projects.

This position can be located in Atlanta, GA, Denver, CO, Bedminster, NJ, Morrisville, NC, Dallas, TX, Jacksonville, FL. May consider applicants who reside (and will remain) in locations other than those listed

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications -

• 8-10 years related technical architect experience
• 5 years experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 11i/R12, Oracle Application Framework (OAF / ADF), Oracle 10g / 11g Middleware Oracle ERP
• 5 years experience in Oracle EBS 11i/R12 design and implementation of development, execution, and operations architectures solutions.
• 5 years of hands on experience with Oracle EBS 11i/R12 installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, cloning, maximum availability architecture and backup/recovery
• Experience of Oracle E-Business Suite Application DBA, and Oracle 9i/10g/11g Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle DataGuard, and Oracle Internet Directory
• Experience in Oracle Database Administration, Performance tuning, Backup and Recovery using RMAN
• Experience delivering other Java applications with Oracle database , designing, coding and performance tuning
• Extensive performance tuning experience with Oracle EBS applications
  Strong working knowledge of RAC with Oracle E-business suite
• Strong background with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid (OEM) with Application Management Pack (AMP) for Oracle E-business suite
• Strong HA experience with PCP (parallel concurrent processing), shared application file systems, DR solutions like Dataguard
• Must have intermediate experience in deploying and administering above products on Unix (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX) and Windows Servers.

Desired Qualifications -

• Experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (R11i and R12) Applications administrator.
• Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.
• Oracle Fusion Middleware administrator experience a plus
• Experience in installing/implementing Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance, Oracle Demantra, Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle Agile Applications is a plus
• OBIEE and Hyperion is a plus
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure (including blade center design, data warehouse design, Ebusiness/web hosting design, etc.)
• Understands data communications protocols (TCP/IP, v4/v6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, GMPLS, etc.)
• Understands Virtualization, Storage and Content Deliver Networks (Cloud, CDM, Grid, SAN).
• Understands financial metrics
• AS/BS degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field
• Enterprise wide deployment planning and support for mission critical applications for major releases, both business and infrastructure related
• Develops technical documentation on applications and systems
• Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
