Senior Technical Architect- PeopleSoft -Identity and Access Manager

• Translate business requirements using complex methods/models to determine appropriate system solutions .
• Work within a cross-functional team to provide technical expertise in the design and planning of system solutions.
• Research, identify, test, certify, and select technology required for solution delivery.
• Maximize the performance, up-time, and supportability, of Identity and Access Manager technology platforms.
• Establish and implement technology migration strategies for applications or architectures.
• Developing highly scalable software for Web Single Sign-On solutions using technologies such as Tomcat, WebLogic, GlassFish, Web Services, JAX-RS, OASIS Federation protocols (SAML, Liberty, WSFed etc) JMS, RMI, EJB, Apache, IIS, Reverse Proxy, VPN, JAAS

Overall Purpose: Responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software. Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Coordinates design and integration of total system including subsystems. Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems. Job Contribution: Seasoned technical professional. Contributes through proven technical expertise. Has significant dept/functional impact.

KNOWLEDGE Subject Matter Expert (SME) within own discipline/specialty area; basic knowledge of other disciplines/specialty areas. Deep technical knowledge. Applies in depth knowledge of discipline/specialty area standards/processes. Integrates industry experience and deep professional/technical knowledge. Technical leader and recognized SME expert on select ATT technologies/systems/procedures.

Qualifications:
Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 5-8 years related technical architect experience.
• Some experience with at least one of the following development environments/languages: J2EE, Java, JavaScript, .NET C or C#
• Hands on experience in all or some of the technologies such as Tomcat, WebLogic, GlassFish, Web Services, JAX-RS, OASIS Federation protocols (SAML, Liberty, WSFed etc) , JMS, RMI, EJB, Apache, IIS, Reverse Proxy, VPN, JAAS
• Excellent communication skills and ability to talk with both technical and non-technical staff
• In-depth technical experience in IT infrastructure area,
• Understanding of management and operational challenges involved in managing complex systems
• Previous experience in leading complex integration projects
• Monitoring and overseeing the technical execution of project activities and responsibilities for on-time delivery and results.
• Interfacing with internal customers to gather project requirements and performing due diligence as required.
• Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
• Identify and evaluate business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
• Providing technical guidance for trouble shooting and issue resolution when needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in developing, implementing or architecting information systems
• 3 years technical architecture experience integrating identity and access management software into clients' infrastructure and applications
• Experience developing identity management strategies, architectures and implementation plans
• Identity Management familiarity in Single Sign On Solution
• Experience with one or more directories such as Active Directory, IBM Directory Server, SunONE Directory Server and Novell e-Directory
• BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting or Information Systems
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional responsibilities
• Ability to take a broad view of his/her position and take initiative to communicate, interact and cooperate with others
• Demonstrated ability to write report segments and to participate in presentations
• Ability to work as a member of a team and independently
• Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
  
• Proficient in Network Management, Tools and Protocols (Configuration, IP Network Address Management, Performance Management).
  
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure (including blade center design, data warehouse design, Ebusiness/web hosting design, etc.)
  
• Understands Virtualization, Storage and Content Deliver Networks (Cloud, CDM, Grid, SAN).
