As a MOSS Developer, your focus will be on developing and testing mission critical enterprise solutions and implementation of custom application development and selection using the .NET Framework, , SharePoint 2007 and other advanced components of Microsoft technology.
You will provide professional consulting services on major enterprise initiatives utilizing the Microsoft Framework including web services, enterprise portals and mobile applications. You will build management, technical and planning skills by participating in large projects. You will improve your abilities to think creatively, design solutions, and interact with customers. You will contribute to our vast repository of intellectual property as we employ Microsoft technologies to create a dramatically more personal, integrated computing experience.
You will:
* Perform the designing, coding and testing of software
* Perform the maintenance and repair of applications in accordance with technical and functional specifications
* Partake in the creation, execution and documentation of tests necessary to ensure than an application or technical environment meets performance requirements
* Identify and implement configuration changes to packaged software applications so that they meet business process requirements
* Plan and implement all actions required to deploy the application both technically and functionally
* Assist with the planning, analysis and definition of high-level software strategies and solutions through functional knowledge and an understanding of the enterprise, business system and industry
* Define the functional and technical requirements of the application
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
You will have excellent communication skills and will have hands-on experience working on component based applications in a distributed environment.
Qualified candidates should possess:
- 1+ year technology consulting - 2 to 4+ years as a programmer - Deep Microsoft platform Skills - Full lifecycle experience developing large scale, scalable applications - 2+ years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following: - .NET Framework - C# or Visual - - SharePoint web part development (InfoPath experience is a plus) - SharePoint Search - Web content management - SharePoint solution packaging - QA and testing procedure - Microsoft SQL Server
- 2+ years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following development methodologies: - Object Oriented Development - Component based development - Patterns - Design for reuse
- 2+ years technical lead experience in one or more of the following roles: - Web Services Development - Data Access Development - Mobile Application Development - Security - Application integration - Testing & Deployment - User Interface Design
- Demonstrated project experience with regard to estimates, planning and deliverables - Proven ability to understand a customer's needs - Experience developing technical requirements based on business imperatives - Strong customer service skills * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certification(s) - Functional Microsoft technology knowledge of the following: - SharePoint 2010 - InfoPath
