Daily Responsibilities: We are currently searching for an Audit and Risk Systems Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC.
This opportunity will provide you with a unique look into a large government portfolio of projects in the renewable and energy space.
(A) Coordinate, draft, edit, and prepare technical deliverables on strategic planning, project audits, internal control and compliance, program evaluation, and management practices.
(B) Maintain audit, internal control and compliance database, spreadsheets, and management tools as needed.
(C) Research business process and general operations improvements.
(D) Monitor and analyze international and domestic developments in energy policy, supply, strategic planning, and finance.
(E) Assist Program/Project/Task Leader with special projects as needed.
(F) Technical editing skills and understanding of English grammar.
(G) Attend meetings at client location as needed.
(H) Attend conferences and events, both locally and outside Washington, DC that address client's policies, technologies, and issues.
(I) Maintain a database of all audits (Recovery Act, non Recovery Act, and Single Audits) and related data elements, and provide reports as needed in a highly compressed timeframe.
Required: Years of experience:(min) 3-5 Required: Degree None Required: Basic Qualifications A) Experience with IG, GAO, or Single audits, whether that be conducting audits, audit coordination, audit analysis, or have a solid understanding of the audit life cycle
(B) BA or BS with 3-5 years experience in information systems, risk management, audits, government budgeting, finance, consulting, economics or related analytical discipline.
(C) Working knowledge of standard English grammar, spelling and punctuation, and ability to complete Company and Client forms and prepare correspondence and written reports as required.
