Our expertise is built on meeting the tough operational challenges of our customers, from stand-alone, customized command and control centers to comprehensive modernization of air station and en route air traffic control equipment.
In order to help execute the ARINC Charleston office's $150M contract with Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC LANT), our team is currently seeking self-driven Technicians with a positive attitude to join its Defense Systems Engineering unit.
The position includes the following responsibilities:
. Provide preventive maintenance and sustainment of the systems . Identify and resolve failures of main components and subsystems . Use of established technical assistance and logistics networks . Assist in training newly deployed personnel to site . Review existing training manuals and documentation for currency and consistency Qualifications Required Experience: We are looking for dedicated Technicians!
The position requires international deployment to locations which might include the following:
. Al Udeid . Balad . Kandahar . Italy . Germany . United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Technical expertise in the following disciplines or a combination may include:
Communications-radios . Multi-function Information Distribution System (MIDS) and AN/PRC-117F) . WAVE and SATCOM . Secure Terminal Equipment (STE) . Cryptologic equipment
Networking . Internet Protocol (IP), servers, routers and switches . UNIX/Solaris and Windows XP Operating Systems
Tactical Digital Information Links (TADILs) . AFSCs 1C2 & 1C4
Supply/Logistics . Obtain support and replacement parts from sub-contractors and vendors
Radar Data Formats . Integrate multiple radars (AFSC 2E0)
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, for access to classified information.
Education or Certification Requirements: Bachelors degree in a related discipline is preferred. Amount of Travel Required for Position 75%-100%
