Job Title: Benefits/HRIS Analyst Requisition #: 319 Country: U.S. State: Maryland City: Germantown Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt Job Type: Regular Full-time Duration: (If not Full Time) Area of Interest: Human Resources Job Description: BENEFITS/HRIS ANALYST Status: Full-time, Exempt Location: Germantown, MD Primary Responsibilities Include: .Day to day and long-term administration and management of health, dental vision, life, disability, 401(k) and leave programs for all employees .Assist in the management of all aspects of open enrollment, including employee inquiries and communications .Participate in group-wide benefit initiatives .Prepare and deliver both written and verbal employee communication on benefit related changes and topics of interest .Work closely with all carriers, consultants and third party vendors .Review invoices/payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of enrollment and payments .Ensure HRIS/Payroll data integrity .Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the HRIS with regard to the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information .Responsible for all data entry to COBRA vendor .Maintain reporting for all required FSA (medical & dependent care) and 401(k) for bi-weekly wires .Assist in the ongoing maintenance of the Benefits Self Service System Primary Requirements Include: .Minimum of three years of benefit experience, preferable within a corporate HR department .In depth benefits knowledge, including compliance .Superior data management, spreadsheet and HRIS report writing skills .Strong communication, analytic and presentation skills .Ability to think strategically and creatively about benefits programs .Independent worker with result driven outcomes .Outstanding customer service skills .BS degree or equivalent experience .Detailed-oriented Job Requirements: BS degree or equivalent experience 1 to 3 years of related experience Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills required
