A premiere publisher and developer of connected video games is looking for an analytical and technically skilled BI Business Analyst to join their team located in San Diego, California.
Responsibilities: * Retrieve and analyze data from server logs, online experiments (A/B testing), and RDBMS * Provide reporting and performance monitoring to Senior Management drawn from diverse sources * Serve as the primary Web / online data analyst to provide detailed and top-level reporting on product performance * Model user behavior and identify monetization opportunities within the customer lifecycle * Develop new insights and analyses that inform decisions and provide incremental monetization opportunities
The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * An ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional experience with Google Analytics, SAS, and SPSS experience * 5+ years of professional experience in business analysis, Web analytics, or comparable analytics position * Excellent SQL skills with extensive experience querying large data sets * Ability to parse log files and load into RDBMS * Familiarity with BI best practices and terminology (ETL, OLAP, Star Schema, etc.) * Ability to execute research projects and generate practical results and recommendations * Experience with various levels of funnel tracking and click stream analysis * Excellent data reporting and presentation skills
